Job Description
QA Engineer | £55,000 - £70,000
We're working with a mission-driven Series A accessibility startup that is revolutionising the transport and social mobility sector through an award-winning B2B SaaS platform. This is a high-impact role where you will take complete ownership of the manual testing lifecycle, ensuring global web and mobile applications provide a seamless, inclusive experience for millions of users.
You will be the final gatekeeper for releases, navigating a modern technical stack including Ruby on Rails, Vue.js, Swift, and Kotlin. This isn't just about finding bugs; you'll be embedding yourself in the design phase to strengthen acceptance criteria and working closely with SDETs to decide what moves into automation pipelines.
The Role
- Lead the end-to-end testing lifecycle for complex web and mobile SaaS applications, ensuring high reliability across global releases.
- Act as the strategic partner for Engineering, conducting rigorous smoke tests and regression passes for native iOS and Android clients.
- Maintain and scale the TestRail repository to bring clarity and structure to the QA process as the company grows internationally.
- Tackle greenfield projects, testing critical features like offline mode data syncing and real-time location services.
- Collaborate directly with Product and Design teams to refine Acceptance Criteria (AC) before a single line of code is written.
