Job Description

Overview

Microsoft Digital (MSD) is on a mission to become the enterprise frontier organization — where trusted data powers every decision and every employee amplifies their impact through AI. At the center of that transformation is the AI + Data Transformation Office (ADTO).

ADTO is the connective tissue of MSD’s AI and data transformation journey. We work horizontally across the organization’s Centers of Excellence (COEs) — including the AI COE, Continuous Improvement COE, Data Governance Council, and Responsible AI practice — to move Microsoft Digital from AI experimentation to real, scaled enterprise impact. Our team brings together program management, data strategy, AI governance, and enablement to ensure MSD’s most strategic transformation initiatives land with clarity, velocity, and measurable business outcomes.

We are looking to hire a Product Manager. We value intellectual curiosity, disciplined execution, and a strategic mindset — qualities that help our PMs navigate complex, cross-functional programs and make a meaningful impact from day one. If you’re energized by working at the intersection of AI, data, and enterprise product management — and want to shape how a world-class IT organization transforms itself into a frontier AI firm — this is your opportunity to grow.

This position is based at the Redmond campus with 3 days per week work in the office and 2 days per week work from home. Relocation assistance is available.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

Responsibilities

As a Product Manager, you will effectively balance multiple complex projects and timelines, end to end, while maintaining executional and operational excellence within the division and across business groups.

To be successful in this role, you will have effective skills in the following capability areas:

  • Cross Team Coordination
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Detail Oriented
  • Decision Making
  • Cultural Stewardship

Key Responsibilities In This Role Include

  • You will support intake and prioritization of AI and data transformation work items across ADTO’s active workstreams — helping triage requests, maintain the program backlog, and keep work moving.
  • You will contribute to continuous planning cycles: track commitments, surface capacity constraints, and flag cross-team dependencies before they become blockers.
  • You will help maintain the ADTO and COE program roadmap, ensuring it accurately reflects current priorities, progress, and strategic objectives for executive and stakeholder audiences.
  • You will partner with ADTO program leads and COE pillar teams to develop clear program objectives, success metrics, and milestone plans for assigned focus areas.
  • You will use data and business analytics to support prioritization decisions, track program health, and surface insights for stakeholder reporting.
  • You will support communications and evangelism efforts — status updates, stakeholder briefings, COE awareness materials — that help the organization understand, adopt, and scale AI and data best practices.
  • You will assist with risk and change management: identify issues early, escalate with context, and help drive resolution across workstreams.
  • You will engage with data, AI, and infrastructure engineering teams to understand technical constraints and translate them into actionable program plans.
  • You will support the Data Council and AI COE in tracking progress on AI-ready data, governance, and technology strategy initiatives.
  • You will build trust with your team through consistent delivery, clear communication, and a genuine learning mindset.

  • Analytical mindset with comfort working with data to support prioritization and decision-making
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, with strong curiosity and a growth mindset.
  • Exposure to agile or sprint-based planning methodologies and tracking tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar)
  • Experience working within or alongside a Center of Excellence, platform team, or cross-functional program office
