About The Role
As a Remote STEM Education Engineer based in Brazil, you will teach and mentor learners in STEM subjects (coding, math, science, and engineering foundations) while contributing to curriculum development and assessment design. You will deliver live and asynchronous instruction and collaborate with product, engineering, and learning teams to improve course outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver remote instruction for STEM topics (programming, data fundamentals, physics concepts, algebra/calculus foundations) using clear explanations and worked examples.
- Design project-based learning activities that simulate real engineering workflows (requirements, implementation, testing, iteration, documentation).
- Create and refine lesson plans, quizzes, rubrics, and assessments aligned to learning objectives and proficiency levels.
- Provide feedback and coaching through code reviews, office hours, discussion threads, and formative assessments.
- Track learner progress using dashboards and LMS reporting; propose interventions to improve retention and mastery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ship curriculum updates, improve content quality, and standardize instructional practices.
- Ensure accessibility and inclusive teaching practices for diverse learners, including multilingual considerations and learning accommodations.

- Mid-Senior experience teaching or mentoring STEM subjects in online or blended environments.
- Strong foundation in at least one programming language (commonly Python) and ability to teach fundamentals clearly.

- Comfort using LMS tools and remote collaboration platforms (documentation, video conferencing).
