Job Summary:

We are seeking an expert Python + Rust Developer to join our customer's team and play a pivotal role in AI training initiatives. This is a remote, full-time opportunity for a candidate with deep experience in both Python and Rust, who thrives in a dynamic environment and excels at codebase migrations and system integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize robust, scalable solutions using Python and Rust.
• Lead and execute codebase migrations and rewrites from Python to Rust (and vice versa), ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption.
• Collaborate closely with AI researchers and software engineers to build and enhance AI training infrastructure.
• Apply best practices in software engineering, automation, and testing to deliver high-quality, production-ready code.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps for cross-language systems.
• Communicate effectively in written and verbal form, sharing insights, documentation, and status updates with stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor other engineers on language interoperability and migration strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant time in both Python and Rust.
• Demonstrated expertise in production environments, including codebase migrations and system rewrites between Python and Rust.
