We are hiring two Head of AI leaders, each owning a strategic vertical:

• Head of AI – Wealth Management
• Head of AI – Emerging Markets

This is not a traditional leadership role.

You are the GM of your market, responsible for:

• Product direction within your vertical
• Platform evolution driven by real-world usage
• Client success and delivery outcomes
• Revenue influence through sales support and PoCs
• Building and leading your own engineering team

You will sit at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Client Delivery, and GTM, owning the full lifecycle from prospect → PoC → production → scale.

Think of this role as:

Product Leader + Technical Architect + Market Owner + Team Builder

● Own Subatomic’s AI platform evolution within your assigned vertical

● Translate market-specific workflows, compliance needs, and constraints into product capabilities

● Define and prioritize vertical-specific roadmap enhancements

● Identify repeatable patterns across clients and convert them into scalable platform features

● Act as the internal and external subject matter authority for your market

● Build, lead, and scale a dedicated engineering team aligned to your market

● Own hiring, onboarding, mentorship, and career development of your team

● Establish engineering standards for rapid, secure, and high-quality delivery

● Drive a culture of AI-first development, experimentation, and continuous learning

● Ensure your team consistently delivers across both internal platform initiatives and client work

● Lead architecture, design, and execution of AI Co-Worker implementations for clients

● Oversee project quality across planning, build, evaluation, and iteration cycles

● Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with real business outcomes

● Act as executive sponsor for key client engagements

● Turn client implementations into reusable assets and product improvements

● Directly contribute to Subatomic’s core platform roadmap

● Identify gaps in orchestration, memory, integration, and agent behavior

● Drive development of reusable components, frameworks, and accelerators

● Apply cutting-edge AI techniques (Agentic AI, LLM orchestration, automation systems)

● Use an empirical, experiment-driven approach to optimize outcomes

● Partner with Sales to drive prospect-to-client conversion

● Lead technical discovery and solution design for high-value opportunities

● Rapidly build tailored Proofs of Concept (PoCs) using Subatomic platform capabilities

● Translate complex AI capabilities into clear business value and ROI narratives

● Support deal progression and act as a trusted advisor to prospects

● Capture insights from clients and prospects to inform product, messaging, and positioning

● Help define ICPs, use cases, and vertical expansion strategies

● Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to refine narratives and demo strategies

● Identify emerging opportunities, risks, and competitive dynamics in your market

● Fully own your vertical (Wealth or Emerging Markets) across product, delivery, and GTM

● Build and lead a high-performing engineering team

● Deliver multiple successful client implementations with measurable outcomes

● Establish repeatable solution patterns and reusable platform components

● Directly influence closed revenue through PoCs and technical leadership

● Contribute meaningful enhancements to the Subatomic platform roadmap

● Be recognized internally and externally as a trusted AI leader in your domain

● Experienced in applying AI/LLMs to real-world business workflows

● Comfortable in early-stage environments—iterating quickly and wearing multiple hats

● Energized by leading teams while staying deeply hands-on

● Obsessed with delivering real, measurable client value

● 8+ years in AI/ML, software engineering, or platform architecture

● 3+ years leading teams or owning technical/product initiatives

● Experience building and deploying AI-driven or automation systems in production

● Strong understanding of:

• LLMs and Agentic AI systems
• Data architecture, APIs, and integrations
• Cloud-native systems and scalable design
• ● Experience working in or adjacent to one of the following:
• Wealth Management / Financial Services (for Wealth role)
• Emerging or high-growth markets, multi-region systems, or frontier industries (for Emerging Markets role)
  

● Experience in highly regulated environments (e.g., financial services, compliance-heavy domains)

● Proven success owning product direction or platform evolution

● Experience supporting sales cycles, PoCs, or solution engineering

● Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

● Experience building reusable frameworks, accelerators, or internal platforms
