Senior Quality Assurance Lead

What do you need to be SMART ?

• +4 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing, with a focus on leading testing efforts in complex software projects.
• Strong understanding of software development processes, testing methodologies, and quality assurance best practices.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in using bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Strong understanding of web technologies and APIs to effectively validate applications.
• Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
• Certifications in quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB) or relevant fields.
• Good level of English and French - minimum B2 (mandatory)

What will your role be at SMART?

• Design and implement robust testing frameworks and strategies to assess product quality across various stages of the development lifecycle.
• Lead the creation, review, and execution of test plans, test cases, and automation scripts, ensuring full coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Identify and track defects, working collaboratively with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues efficiently.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide actionable insights to stakeholders, promoting proactive quality measures.
• Mentor junior quality analysts, guiding them in best practices for testing methodologies and fostering their professional development.
• Collaborate with product management and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into clear testable objectives.
• Drive the adoption of automation tools and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices to enhance testing efficiency.
