Senior Software Engineer - Construction Asset and Fleet Tracking

What you will do:

• Design and build new features across a connected platform that manages equipment and asset data.
• Write clean, reliable code that supports performance and scale. You will test your work and ensure it meets quality standards before release.
• Work closely with engineers, product managers, and QA to deliver consistent outcomes.
• Guide less experienced developers through code reviews and practical support.

• Contribute to system design, API structure, and database performance.
• Take part in planning and help shape future product direction.
• Maintain clear documentation to support ongoing development.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

• 8+ years in software development across full stack environments
• Strong experience with JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with C#, .NET, or Python with intent to work in a Node.js stack
• Solid understanding of SQL and exposure to NoSQL systems
• Experience building and maintaining microservices
• Familiarity with Docker and container-based deployment
• Exposure to AWS services such as EC2, S3, or VPC
• Experience working with large data systems and messaging tools such as RabbitMQ
• Strong problem-solving ability across complex systems
• Clear communication and ability to work in a distributed team
