We are seeking a heavyweight AWS DevOps Engineer to take full ownership of cloud infrastructure and testing lifecycles within a secure government environment. This is a high-autonomy role where you will leverage Kubernetes, Terraform, and advanced CI/CD patterns to build resilient, scalable public sector services from the ground up.
The Role
- Lead the design and implementation of highly secure AWS cloud architecture spanning compute, storage, and networking.
- Deliver robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to ensure repeatable, audited environments.
- Build and orchestrate containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes to drive service efficiency.
- Architect and maintain sophisticated CI/CD pipelines across platforms like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions.
- Implement high-level monitoring and observability suites using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stacks to ensure 24/7 reliability.

- Current active SC Clearance is essential; candidate must be a Sole British National due to the sensitive nature of the public sector projects.

- Expert-level Testing Experience: You must have the ability to architect, set up, and own the entire testing process from end-to-end.
