C++ Software Engineer (Low Latency Trading)
Location: Hong Kong (Relocation support & visa sponsorship provided)
About the Role
We are looking for a C++ Software Engineer to join our pop trading client in Hong Kong. You will build and improve the high-speed systems we use to trade in financial markets. Your work directly affects how fast we can buy and sell, focusing on extreme speed (low latency) and reliability.

- Build High-Speed Trading Tools: Write C++ code to create fast connections to stock exchanges and build automated trading algorithms (for pricing, hedging, and arbitrage).
- Collaborate: Work directly with traders and quants to design low latency tading system.
- Improve Infrastructure: Develop the core C++ applications that power our in-house trading systems.
- Ensure Quality: Test your own code, write automated tests, and review other engineers' work.
- Support: Provide Tier 3 technical support to fix urgent production issues.
What You Offer (Requirements)
- Experience: Min 2+ years of professional C++ experience on Linux. Ideally 10-20 years experience for senipr candidates
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of C++14 or newer, multithreading, and networking (sockets).
- Specialization: Proven ability to write low-latency (very fast) code.
- Domain Knowledge: Experience with automated trading systems or connecting to stock exchanges is highly preferred.
- Language: Excellent written and spoken English.
- Bonus: Experience with Kafka.
