Senior Data Engineer | Fully Remote | Individual Contributor | Azure | Airflow | PostgreSQL | £80,000-£90,000 + benefits
Method Resourcing have partnered with a growing health tech company who are going from strength-to-strength. We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer who thrives as a hands-on individual contributor and enjoys operating in small, high-impact teams.
This is a standalone data engineering role - you will own the function. You’ll design, build, optimise, and support the infrastructure that underpins analytics and future machine learning initiatives across the business.

The Role
You’ll take full ownership of:
- Designing and maintaining cloud-based data infrastructure.
- Building and optimising robust data pipelines.
- Developing scalable, well-structured data models.
- Supporting analysts by creating clean, reliable, production-grade datasets.
- Automating workflows and improving the performance of the data warehouse.
- Laying the foundations for future AI and ML use cases.

What We Need
- Strong, production-level SQL skills - this is essential and heavily tested.
- Solid experience working in cloud environments (Azure ideally but AWS, or GCP is suitable).
- Proven experience building and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure (CI/CD or IaC or API's etc).
- Experience with Airflow for orchestration.
- Comfortable owning the full lifecycle: ingestion, modelling, optimisation, and monitoring.
- Python experience to support engineering and automation work.
- Experience working in smaller teams where you’ve had broad exposure and real responsibility.
