1. About Our Client:

The organization is a business management and technology consulting firm serving Federal Government clients. It offers services in strategy, process improvement, change management, program and project management, acquisition/procurement, and information technology. The company focuses on delivering professional and IT solutions that address government operational needs, leveraging a management team experienced in leading successful engagements. Established as a small business, it supports both federal and commercial sectors.


2. About the Opportunity:

The Database/SharePoint Support Associate*role is dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the accuracy, security, and usability of the client’s contract data environment. The position involves serving as a subject matter expert in modern database and reporting tools, including Microsoft 365 applications, SharePoint Online, and SQL systems. This role supports SharePoint architecture, workflows, document management, and integration with Microsoft 365 to improve contracting processes and data analytics.


3. Responsibilities:

• Design and update database structures, forms, queries, and dashboards using SQL Server, SharePoint Online, and Power Platform

• Conduct functional and regression testing to ensure database accuracy and compliance

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for databases, workflows, and integrations

• Develop and refine reports and dashboards using Power BI and analytics tools

• Support migration efforts to new contract writing and financial management systems, including legacy data preservation

• Provide advisory support and troubleshoot database issues to optimize performance and scalability

• Extract and validate contract and procurement data for accuracy and consistency

• Produce recurring reports and trend analyses on contract actions and expenditures

• Maintain SharePoint Online tools and ensure compliance with governance and security policies

• Develop and maintain workflows using Power Automate, Power Apps, and legacy SharePoint Designer tools

• Collaborate with government staff to design and implement SharePoint solutions integrated with Microsoft 365 services

• Document SharePoint processes, configurations, and provide user guidance and training materials

• Recommend and implement improvements to enhance SharePoint usability and efficiency


4. Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field

• 5-8 years of experience in database support or SharePoint administration

• Experience designing, developing, testing, documenting, and maintaining SharePoint environments

• Proficiency in SQL Server, including query writing and database design

• Highly proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel and Power BI

• Experience using Power BI and other analytics tools to develop reports and dashboards

• Experience developing workflows and applications with Power Automate and Power Apps

• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance, including background checks

• Fully remote position with camera use required during Microsoft Teams meetings when directed


5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Salary range: $90,000 to $110,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and education
