Data Engineer - Clinical Data

Razor is looking for a Data Engineer with experience in clinical data who designs and builds scalable data ingestion pipelines to normalize clinical data supporting quality reporting, risk adjustment, and regulatory programs. Education & Certification Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Health Informatics, or related field 100% Remote Responsibilities • Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
• Normalize and map clinical data to LOINC, SNOMED CT, RxNorm, CVX
• Build data models for quality and risk adjustment reporting
• Maintain data lineage, provenance, and traceability
• Implement automated validation and quality monitoring
• Work with actuarial, quality, compliance, and analytics teams
• Support CMS, HEDIS, and risk adjustment reporting
• Optimize pipeline performance in cloud/hybrid environments
• Document transformations, mappings, and governance controls Qualifications • 3+ years in data engineering or ETL development
• Strong SQL and Python
• Experience normalizing clinical data to standard vocabularies
• Experience with data warehouses/data marts
• Understanding of healthcare claims/clinical data
• Cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) Desired Skills • FHIR/HL7 experience
• Familiarity with RAF/HCC, HEDIS, Stars
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, Airflow, dbt
• Knowledge of CMS/HIPAA requirements
