Security Architect will be responsible for for defining, implementing, and overseeing the mea’s information security strategy to protect systems, data, clients, and intellectual property. This role requires balance of strategic leadership with hands-on security governance, ensuring compliance, risk management, and business continuity while enabling growth.

Responsibilities
- Define and execute the enterprise information security strategy aligned with our business objectives.
- Establish security policies, standards, and frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2, etc)
- Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks across applications, infrastructure, cloud, and data, lead audits and certifications (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPPA, DPDP Act, etc.) and manage vendor and third-party risk assessments.
- Oversee security operations, monitoring, and threat detection, lead incident response planning, breach management, and post-incident reviews and coordinate with leadership during security incidents.
- Ensure security across cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), drive secure SDLC practices and application security and define and enforce data protection, encryption, access controls, and DLP policies
- Lead security related discussions with clients, internal/external stakeholders. act as the single point of accountability for security commitments.

Education, Experience and Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in technology
- 12–18+ years in information security, cybersecurity, or IT risk
- 5+ years in a senior leadership role (CISO / Head of Security / Security Director)
- Experience in cloud-native, SaaS, or enterprise tech environments
- Strong communication and decision-making skills, ability to translate technical risk into business impact and experience working with boards, regulators, and auditors
