As a Talent Acquisition Lead at Prowise Solutions, I am looking for a driven Junior Network Engineer to join our team supporting Client, a global leader in food and agriculture. You will help maintain and optimize a massive global network infrastructure, ensuring secure and reliable communication across diverse operational environments from corporate offices to modernizing industrial sites with Private 5G.
This 12-month contract is ideal for early-career professionals with 2 3 years of experience or high-performing graduates from specialized programs like who have hands-on experience in cloud networking and routing.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Operations: Assist in configuring and maintaining routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure high uptime and reliability across LAN/WAN environments.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues under moderate supervision, minimizing downtime for critical supply chain operations.
- Security & Compliance: Support the implementation of security measures, including firewalls (CheckPoint/Cisco), VPNs, and Zero Trust architectures to protect against evolving threats.
- Performance Monitoring: Utilize tools like SNMP and NetFlow to monitor performance and suggest improvements for scalability and efficiency.
- Emerging Tech Support: Assist in the maintenance of cutting-edge infrastructure, including software-defined networking (SD-WAN) and Private 5G initiatives at industrial sites.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate network diagrams, IP addressing schemes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
