We are looking for a Security Engineer to join our team and support edge security operations, as well as the AWS infrastructure behind them.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys keeping systems stable, secure, and well-documented, and who can understand business needs in order to implement the most suitable short and long term solutions.
What You Will Do
Edge Security & WAF Operations
- Assist in planning, implementing and fine-tuning Cloudflare WAF rules.
- Create procedures and lead incident response for web attacks, DDoS, and bot traffic.
- Perform security assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
- Balance security with application performance to ensure high availability of services.
Security & Compliance
- Support and maintain compliance with security certifications (e.g. SOC2).
- Document security rules/procedures and share updates and guidelines with the team.
- Manage least-privilege IAM access.

AWS Infrastructure
- Maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
- Establish and document procedures to ensure consistency across environments and deployments.
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of Security or Infra experience.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions quickly.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash and/or Node.js).
- Familiarity with Cyberattack Mitigation Techniques (WAF, DDoS protection, CDN).
- Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for learning.
- Fluent in English (native or high business level).
- Degree/qualification in Security or CS/CE.
