Senior DevOps Engineer

On behalf of our client we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team in Limassol.

Relocation to Cyprus - Limassol for this role is required

Salary range: €6,000 - €7,500

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve the infrastructure that powers our data-intensive platforms.

This role sits at the core of our R&D organization. You’ll design, operate, and harden the systems that ingest, process, and serve high-volume, low-latency data—while enabling engineering teams to move fast without breaking things.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, highly available production infrastructure.
• Own CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows across multiple services and environments.
• Operate and optimize containerized systems (Docker, Kubernetes) in cloud environments.
• Ensure reliability, performance, and security of systems handling large-scale real-time data.
• Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability stacks.

• Partner closely with Backend, Data, and Front-End teams to support development and release workflows.
• Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and long-term reliability improvements.
• Automate everything that can be automated—and question what shouldn’t exist at all.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure roles.
• Experience with On Premise environments in production.
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration at scale.
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
• Experience operating data-heavy systems (Kafka, Spark, Elasticsearch, distributed databases).
• Strong background in Linux systems, networking, and security fundamentals.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
• Practical experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).
• Ability to diagnose complex production issues across application, infrastructure, and data layers.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Nice to Have

• Experience in the AdTech ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, RTB, programmatic advertising).
• Knowledge of data lake architectures (Delta Lake, Iceberg, Hudi).
• Solid experience in building ETL/ELT pipelines (streaming and batch).
• Familiarity with high-throughput streaming architectures.
• Exposure to AdTech or real-time analytics platforms.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar).
