Senior Network Operations Engineer (Enterprise / Managed Services)

6-month contract with potential extensions

Fully remote role – open to candidates across all states in Australia

$725.00 per day including Superannuation

Altitude is seeking an experienced Senior Network Operations Engineer (Enterprise / Managed Services) to join a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting.

Take ownership of complex, high-impact enterprise network environments where your expertise will drive performance, resilience, and mission-critical service delivery across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end lifecycle management of incidents, service requests, problems, and changes, ensuring timely resolution and closure
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex, high-impact network issues, providing expert technical guidance
• Deliver proactive and reactive network support to maintain SLA compliance and service continuity
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues and manage escalations effectively
• Contribute to change management processes, including participation in CAB and risk assessment activities

Key Requirements:

• Australian Citizenship with an active NV1 security clearance or higher (mandatory)
• Proven experience in enterprise network engineering, with strong customer-facing exposure
• Solid expertise in routing, switching, SD-WAN, network security, and infrastructure technologies

• Experience working within ITIL/ITSM frameworks and enterprise monitoring and ticketing tools
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work in a 24/7 roster
