We’re looking for a technically strong Data Engineer to help alleviate a capacity bottleneck within a small, high-impact data team. This is not a greenfield build role—the core data infrastructure is already in place and functioning. Instead, the focus is on maintaining, optimizing, and incrementally improving existing systems.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on the backend of data systems, is detail-oriented, and can quickly take ownership of ongoing data operations with minimal direction.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and optimize existing data pipelines and infrastructure within Snowflake
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with data pipelines and reporting systems
- Build and update reports (e.g., compliance, partner billing) using Looker
- Develop and refine SQL queries and Python scripts to support data workflows
- Create and maintain specific data views based on internal requests
- Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance across systems
- Collaborate closely with the existing data engineer to support continuity and improvements
- Data Warehouse: Snowflake
- BI / Reporting: Looker
- Languages: Python, SQL
