Senior Backend Engineer

Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Senior Backend Engineer - candidates need to be based in CET +/- 1 timezones.

We are looking for an immediately available Senior Backend Engineer with experience in building distributed systems, data pipelines and APIs. The role's core activity center will be in building out a series of platform level components that will power the evolution of our product suite.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience as a Backend Developer or similar role

Experience in real-time systems such as Apache Flink or Bytewax

Experience with a Python web framework such as Flask, FastAPI or Django

Experienced with Python and SQL

Proficient in building ETL data pipelines and indexers using Dagster, Airflow or similar
