Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Lead Business Analyst with strong expertise in Finance domain to drive business requirements, stakeholder alignment, and solution delivery across financial systems. The ideal candidate will have deep domain knowledge in banking/finance, strong analytical skills, and proven experience leading BA teams in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation for finance-related projects
• Work closely with stakeholders (Finance, Accounting, Risk, Compliance teams) to understand business needs
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications

• Drive gap analysis, impact analysis, and process improvements
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and solution discussions
• Collaborate with Data, Engineering, and QA teams for successful delivery
• Support UAT, validation, and production rollouts
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
• Mentor junior BAs and enforce best practices in documentation and analysis

Required Skills

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst in Finance domain (12+ years)
• Deep understanding of financial systems, accounting principles, and reporting
• Experience with banking / capital markets / insurance domains
• Strong skills in BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, and process mapping
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis
• Experience working with Agile / Scrum and Waterfall methodologies

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with financial reporting tools or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle Finance, etc.)
• Exposure to data warehousing, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (SOX, IFRS, Basel, etc.)
• Experience working on data migration or transformation projects
• Prior experience in US financial projects or top-tier MNCs

Leadership Expectations

• Lead BA team and drive requirement strategy
• Act as a bridge between business and technology teams
