About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Game Developer with a deep understanding of Unity to join our talented team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming design specifications into engaging, seamless game mechanics that enhance user experience. You will collaborate closely with designers, artists, and other developers to create reliable, high-performance applications that meet our quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of launching successful video game titles and possess a passion for developing innovative gaming experiences using the latest technologies. This position offers a unique opportunity to work remotely within a vibrant team, contributing to multiple exciting projects and gaining exposure to the full lifecycle of game development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in game development within multi-person teams
• Proficiency in C#, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Experience with mobile game development
• Experience with PC game development
• Strong background in 3D game development
• Experience implementing UI designs effectively
• Ability to learn and adapt to evolving game development standards and technologies
• Familiarity with new game engine technologies
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• Knowledge of current design and architectural patterns
• Experience working with game physics and particle systems
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

• Proficient with Git version control
• Excellent English communication skills
• Must be a resident of the US or Canada (visa sponsorship not available)
• Availability to work during Pacific Time core hours (9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday)

• Translate game design specifications into functional and engaging game mechanics
• Collaborate with team members to establish effective pipelines and integrate media assets seamlessly
• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable codebases
• Optimize game performance, quality, and responsiveness across platforms
• Identify and troubleshoot bottlenecks and bugs, implementing effective solutions
• Maintain high standards of code quality, organization, and documentation
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance game development processes
• Assist in implementing UI components and ensuring smooth user interactions
