Mobile App Developer (Freelance)

We are hiring multiple Mobile App Developers to work with global product companies, SaaS teams, and enterprise engineering groups. These long-term, fully remote freelance roles are ideal for developers who can build high-quality mobile applications end-to-end across native and cross-platform technologies such as React Native, Flutter, Android (Kotlin/Java), and iOS (Swift).

Engagement Details

• Type: Independent Freelance Consultant
• Location: 100% Remote
• Duration: 6–12 months contract (extendable into multi-year engagements)
• Start Date: Immediate or within the next few weeks
• Clients: Global mobile product teams, consumer apps, enterprise apps, and digital-first companies

What You’ll Work On

You will be responsible for building and maintaining mobile applications across Android, iOS, or cross-platform frameworks depending on the client stack. Your work will involve:

• Developing high-quality mobile app features and components using React Native or Flutter, or building native apps using Kotlin/Java (Android) or Swift (iOS).
• Integrating mobile apps with backend APIs, authentication systems, and cloud services.
• Optimizing performance, memory usage, and rendering across devices and OS versions.
• Building reusable UI components and assisting with design implementation from Figma or similar tools.
• Managing local storage, offline capabilities, push notifications, background tasks, and device integrations.

• Debugging issues, analyzing crash logs, and resolving performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborating closely with backend engineers, product teams, and designers to deliver tight, seamless user experiences.
• Ensuring apps follow best practices for security, accessibility, and app store compliance.
• Participating in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.
• Supporting deployments to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, including handling releases, signing, and versioning.

You may work across consumer apps, enterprise mobility apps, internal tools, or large-scale mobile platforms depending on project fit.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in mobile app development.
• Strong proficiency in React Native, Flutter, Android (Kotlin/Java), or iOS (Swift).
• Experience integrating APIs and working with common libraries, state management tools, or navigation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, lifecycle, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows for mobile deployments.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with both Android and iOS, or any cross-platform + native combination.
• Familiarity with cloud integrations (Firebase, AWS Amplify, Azure Mobile Apps).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks for mobile apps.
• Understanding of microservices, GraphQL, or real-time communication (WebSockets).
• Experience working with app store submission, signing, certificates, and OTA updates.
• Strong UI/UX sensibility and ability to convert Figma designs pixel-perfect.
