The Mission
I am representing a high-growth robotics startup building a fully electric, autonomous heavy-duty vehicle designed to revolutionise frontline logistics and agriculture. Backed by β¬9M in funding and led by experts in Aerospace and Quantum ML from Google, they are moving from successful field trials to scaling production.
The Role: Concept to Production
You will take total ownership of mechanical projects. This isnβt just about sitting behind a screen; itβs about hands-on prototyping, rigorous testing, and cross-functional collaboration.

Your Core Tasks:
- Robust Design: Use CAD, FEA, and engineering calculations to develop hardware that survives the harshest real-world environments.
- Validate & Optimise: Perform deep analysis and testing to ensure system performance is peak.
- Supplier & Supply Chain: Interface with suppliers and manage procurement for both rapid prototyping and serial production.
- Multidisciplinary Fusion: Work alongside electronics, mechatronics, and software teams to bring "Thor" to life.
- Field Testing: Lead the iteration of functional prototypes out in the field (vineyards, orchards, and rugged terrain).
- Scale Operations: Optimise tools and processes to transition from custom builds to serial production.
