About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Web & Visual Designer who will serve as both a leader and a hands-on contributor within our creative team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the quality, consistency, and timeliness of our deliverables across multiple brands. As a player-coach, you will lead by example—setting creative standards, reviewing work, and providing mentorship—while actively participating in design tasks when necessary. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our design outputs meet the highest standards, are delivered on schedule, and align with client expectations, all while nurturing a motivated and productive team environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional design experience, with at least 1-3 years in a leadership or senior role within an agency, in-house team, or subscription-based environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and Canva.
- Strong command of English, both spoken and written, to facilitate clear communication with clients and team members.
- Exceptional art direction skills, including typography, layout, composition, and motion graphics where applicable.
- Proven ability to provide specific, actionable feedback that drives quality improvements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards under pressure.
- Experience in developing and maintaining scalable design systems, templates, and brand kits is preferred.
- Knowledge of project management tools such as Trello, Asana, or Jira is a plus.

- Establish and uphold creative standards for layout, typography, motion, and brand consistency across all deliverables.
- Translate complex or vague briefs into clear, actionable design directions that enable rapid execution by the team.
- Develop reusable systems including templates, component libraries, and brand guidelines to streamline workflows and ensure uniformity.
- Review and approve work before delivery, catching both obvious errors and subtle inconsistencies that could impact quality or client perception.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to designers, fostering continuous improvement in skills and output quality.
- Manage incoming requests by triaging tasks based on complexity, urgency, dependencies, and risk factors.
- Assign tasks to team members based on their skills, bandwidth, and project needs, ensuring balanced workloads.
- Unblock work promptly by resolving issues such as missing assets, unclear scopes, or conflicting feedback, and communicate risks early with proposed solutions.
- Participate in client interactions when necessary, including onboarding, brand alignment meetings, escalations, and quarterly reviews to ensure client satisfaction and alignment.
- Identify gaps in brand systems, guidelines, and recurring requests, and implement improvements to prevent inefficiencies and inconsistencies.
- Lead weekly team meetings to discuss wins, blockers, priorities, and areas for growth, maintaining high morale and momentum.
- Facilitate skill development through targeted training, 1:1 coaching, and feedback loops to ensure continuous professional growth.
- Work collaboratively with production and customer success teams to refine workflows, set clear expectations, and establish effective escalation paths.
- Drive process improvements by enhancing briefing quality, reducing friction points, and optimizing tools and workflows for better efficiency.
