Title: Manual QA Tester, 100% Remote
Duties
We are seeking to onboard Manual QA Engineers. These roles will support ongoing quality assurance across our data-intensive web applications and microservice-based platforms, which span multiple UI and API testing frameworks. The testing landscape includes both mature and modern stacks, requiring candidates who can maintain existing test suites while contributing to forward-looking automation initiatives. Our PMs and technologists are concentrated in Portugal: candidates must be strong communicators, comfort with agile work environment, and have familiarity working across multiple time zones
Manual QA Engineers – Specific Requirements
- Test case design and execution (functional, regression, smoke, and UAT testing)
- Defect tracking in JIRA, along with efficient creation of defect evidence (screen recordings)
- API testing using Postman or curl
- Exploratory and scenario-based testing, and data-driven web apps
- Familiarity with multi-environment validation and Allure report review
- Experience testing and validating complex applications using devTools on multiple browsers and viewports for web-based and mobile-based users

- Demonstrated QA expertise, with strong grounding in testing methodologies, defect management, and quality metrics.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in enterprise or SaaS environments
- Ability to align testing strategies with business goals and data-driven workflows
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within agile teams
- Highly proficient in JIRA
- Version control (Git, GitHub), branching and PR workflows
- CI/CD concept familiarity (GitHub Actions pipelines)
- Agile/Scrum familiarity (sprint planning, retrospectives)
- Docker for local or containerized test execution
- Experience with multiple environment management (Alpha/Beta/Prod)
- Allure reporting and test artifact analysis
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
