Job Summary
Medefy Health is seeking an experienced Head of Product to lead and shape the next generation of our healthcare navigation platform. This is a senior executive role at the intersection of customer needs, business strategy, and engineering execution — responsible not only for defining what we build, but for building and leading the product organization itself.
You will partner directly with the executive leadership team to set Medefy's product vision, drive organizational alignment, and ensure our engineering and product teams are consistently working on the highest-impact opportunities. You will hire, mentor, and grow a world-class product team while maintaining a hands-on role in defining strategy, overseeing discovery, and measuring real-world outcomes.
A core dimension of this role is leveraging modern AI tools and workflows to accelerate product discovery, development, and operational efficiency across the organization — and identifying meaningful opportunities to embed AI capabilities directly into Medefy's platform.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Product Vision & Organizational Leadership
- Own and articulate Medefy's product vision, strategy, and roadmap in close partnership with the CEO and executive team.
- Build, lead, hire, and mentor a high-performing product management organization as the company scales.
- Establish product processes, frameworks, and a culture of rigorous discovery, rapid iteration, and outcome-driven execution.
- Serve as the senior voice of product across the company — aligning all functions around what we are building, why it matters, and what success looks like.
- Identify the most valuable product opportunities by synthesizing insights from Care Guides, operations, Client Success, Sales, engineering, data teams, employer clients, and broker partners.
- Translate Medefy's business goals into clear product priorities and measurable outcomes.
- Define the problems most worth solving and guide the product organization to focus relentlessly on high-impact work.
- Leverage modern AI tools and workflows to accelerate product discovery, design, and development across the organization.
- Identify and champion opportunities to apply AI across Medefy's platform, including care navigation intelligence, provider and healthcare pricing insights, internal operational automation, and member engagement and decision support.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging AI capabilities and define practical pathways to incorporate them into Medefy's products and internal workflows.
- Partner closely with engineering leadership to move ideas from discovery into execution with clarity and speed.
- Work with engineering teams to clarify problems and expected outcomes, break initiatives into achievable phases, and keep technical and business perspectives aligned.
- Maintain a prioritized backlog that reflects real product priorities and expected business impact.

- Align engineering, operations, customer success, sales, and executive leadership around product priorities, timelines, and outcomes.
- Ensure internal teams are well-prepared for new capabilities and product improvements.
- Act as an executive sponsor and escalation point for product decisions across the company.
- Define success metrics for all major product initiatives and hold the team accountable to achieving measurable outcomes.
- Analyze data, client feedback, and operational insights to evaluate the real-world impact of product work and identify improvement opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, or product leadership, with a track record of growing into or holding senior product leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience building and leading product teams — hiring, mentoring, and developing product managers.
- Strong technical fluency with the ability to collaborate as a true peer with engineering leadership.
- Proven experience leveraging modern AI tools to accelerate product workflows, decision-making, and outcomes.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to product decisions.
- Outstanding communication, executive presence, and stakeholder alignment capabilities.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth SaaS or technology-driven environments.
- Experience in healthcare, employee benefits, insurance, or healthcare navigation platforms.
- Familiarity with healthcare pricing transparency, claims data, or provider data modeling.
- Experience working with data-driven products or analytics platforms.
- Demonstrated success scaling product organizations and product practices in high-growth companies.

This is a senior executive position with immediate ownership of Medefy's product function. The Head of Product will:
- Have direct responsibility for building and scaling the product management organization.
- Partner as a peer with the CEO, CTO, and other executive leaders on long-term platform strategy and company direction.
- Play a central role in Medefy's next chapter of growth — defining what gets built, how it gets built, and how it creates lasting value for members, clients, and the business.
Remote Work
- This position is performed fully remotely from a home-office setting.
- A quiet, private workspace free from distractions and suitable for executive video conferencing and focused work is required.
- Reliable high-speed internet connectivity is required.
- Travel percentage: 0%.
- Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM (local time).
- Must be punctual, dependable, and responsive during scheduled working hours and team communications.
- Must be able to maintain regular attendance and meet leadership expectations without on-site supervision.
- Must manage multiple complex strategic initiatives simultaneously while maintaining clear prioritization.
- Strong critical thinking, executive judgment, and sound decision-making under pressure.
- Must communicate effectively in English across written and verbal channels (email, video conferencing, executive presentations).
- Must read and interpret complex information including healthcare documentation, performance reports, and market analysis.
- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive business and member information.
