Role Description
We're looking for a QA Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications through both manual testing and test automation. You will be responsible for thoroughly testing new features, building and maintaining automated test suites using Playwright, identifying and documenting issues, and collaborating closely with developers and product managers to deliver a polished user experience.

- Execute manual testing of new features, bug fixes, and regression scenarios across web and mobile platforms.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated end-to-end tests using Playwright for web applications.
- Write and maintain reliable, reusable test scripts in TypeScript/JavaScript within the Playwright framework.
- Integrate Playwright tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) to enable continuous testing.
- Develop, maintain, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios for both manual and automated testing efforts.
- Reproduce, document, and prioritize defects clearly in the tracking system.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and expected behavior.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive manual test cases and expand automated test coverage over time.
- Participate in design reviews and planning sessions to identify potential quality risks early.
- Help define and improve QA processes and contribute to building a culture of quality.
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and unexpected behavior.
- Leverage Playwright's built-in tools (trace viewer, codegen, test reports) to debug failures and improve test reliability.
- Validate production releases and monitor for post-deployment issues.

What Weโre Looking For
- Experience in manual QA testing of web and/or mobile applications.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for automated browser testing, including writing and maintaining test suites.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript for test scripting.
- Understanding of Page Object Model (POM) and other test design patterns for maintainable automation.
- Experience with test management systems such as TestRail or similar (e.g., Zephyr, qTest, TestLink).
- Familiarity with common QA concepts, SDLC, and defect life cycles.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and thorough test documentation.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and pull request workflows.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently.
