Senior Game Developer

A talented Game Developer is required to join a fast-growing, game studio creating high-quality, engaging slot games for a global audience. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a creative, collaborative environment where innovation and ownership are genuinely encouraged.

You’ll be joining an experienced international team, working on the development of next-generation casino games with a focus on depth, performance, and long-term player engagement. Game Developers are given real autonomy and the opportunity to influence both the technical direction and creative output of each game.

As a Game Developer, you’ll be involved across the full development lifecycle, from early prototyping through to release. You’ll collaborate closely with designers and artists to bring game concepts to life, contributing to both technical implementation and creative direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the full lifecycle of game development, including prototyping, development, and release
• Implement game features including mechanics, animations, sound, and integrations
• Collaborate with designers and artists to deliver engaging gameplay experiences

• Take ownership of individual projects, ensuring performance, scalability, and quality
• Support improvements to internal tools, frameworks, and development processes
• Work with platform partners to integrate and launch games successfully

Requirements:

• Strong experience in game development (ideally 5+ years), preferably within online slots or similar gaming environments
• Proven ability to deliver projects end-to-end, from concept through to launch
• Solid problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset

• Experience in JavaScript / TypeScript and modern game development frameworks (e.g. PixiJS, Spine or similar), and developing a game engine
• Strong communication skills in English
• A genuine passion for gaming and building high-quality player experiences

This Game Developer role is offering a base salary of up to EUR 80,000 + Equity + Benefit, as well as fully remote working or the option to work in their office in Malta.
