Senior Systems Administrator

We’re looking for a skilled, dependable, and experienced Senior Systems Administrator to help support and expand our global infrastructure across gaming, SaaS, and enterprise workloads.

This is a hands-on infrastructure role working across dedicated servers, VPS platforms, virtualization, networking, automation, monitoring, and production systems. You’ll play a key role in keeping our infrastructure fast, stable, secure, and scalable while helping solve complex technical issues across a real-world hosting environment.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys both troubleshooting and building, communicates clearly, and can operate independently without needing constant oversight. Experience in hosting, game server infrastructure, or similar high-availability environments is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and optimize servers and infrastructure across multiple data centers and production environments
• Troubleshoot system, network, hardware, and performance issues with urgency and strong technical judgment
• Manage virtualization environments, including provisioning, scaling, migrations, and performance optimization
• Perform system updates, patching, hardening, and ongoing security checks
• Deploy and maintain production software, automation scripts, and internal tooling
• Support and improve infrastructure for dedicated servers, VPS platforms, bare metal systems, and related hosting environments
• Respond to incidents, assist with escalations, and drive issues through to resolution with clear communication and ownership
• Document system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, incident findings, and internal processes
• Work closely with SysOps, Development, Support, and technical leadership to improve infrastructure reliability, efficiency, and scalability

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Systems Administration, SysOps, DevOps, or a similar infrastructure-focused role
• Strong Linux administration experience with solid command-line skills
• Hands-on experience with servers, virtualization, and production infrastructure
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, VLANs, routing, firewalls, load balancing, and general network troubleshooting
• Familiarity with system security, hardening, patching, intrusion prevention, and log auditing
• Experience with containerization technologies and production service deployment
• Ability to write, maintain, or troubleshoot automation and scripting
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and perform well in a remote environment
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where reliability, responsiveness, and sound judgment matter
• Must be at least 18 years old and willing to sign an NDA

Nice to Have

• Experience in hosting environments, game server infrastructure, cloud operations, or data center infrastructure
• Working knowledge of automation or configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as Proxmox, VMware, KVM, or similar
• Familiarity with MySQL, Redis, or other backend services
• Experience with DDoS mitigation, performance tuning, or high-traffic production workloads
• Experience supporting dedicated server platforms, VPS environments, or bare metal deployments at scale
• Certifications are a plus, but not required
• Ability to maintain a consistent weekly schedule with reasonable overlap for collaboration across time zones

• Hours: 160 hours/month, flexible scheduling
• Compensation: $45,000-$65,000 USD annually
