Job Description


This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an AI & Optimization Engineer in India.

This role sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, data engineering, and large-scale industrial optimization, focusing on improving the efficiency of complex Bitcoin mining operations.

You will design and develop AI models that transform high-volume operational data into actionable intelligence for real-time decision-making.

The position involves building scalable data foundations, advanced ML systems, and optimization frameworks that directly impact site-level performance.

You will collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to embed AI capabilities into core platforms and workflows.

A strong emphasis is placed on turning telemetry, sensor data, and system signals into predictive and automated insights.

This is a highly technical and impactful role within a fast-paced, remote-first, innovation-driven environment.

Accountabilities

  • Define and lead the AI and optimization strategy for large-scale mining operating systems and development platforms, ensuring measurable operational improvements.
  • Design standardized data models, schemas, and pipelines to support high-quality, structured, and scalable machine learning use cases.
  • Develop and deploy AI/ML models including predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, performance optimization, and energy efficiency forecasting.
  • Build optimization systems leveraging mathematical and statistical techniques to improve operational decision-making and automation.
  • Collaborate with backend and platform engineers to integrate AI models into production systems, APIs, and workflows.
  • Work closely with operations teams to validate model outputs and continuously refine system accuracy and relevance.
  • Ensure AI systems are scalable, explainable, reliable, and maintainable in production environments.
  • Document architectures, assumptions, and methodologies while contributing to a strong data-driven engineering culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in AI/ML, data science, or applied optimization roles.
  • Strong experience designing data models, schemas, and pipelines for large-scale time-series or telemetry-driven systems.
  • Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-Learn.
  • Solid understanding of optimization techniques including linear/non-linear programming and decision systems.
  • Experience with time-series modeling, anomaly detection, and predictive systems in production environments.
  • Familiarity with signal processing and feature extraction from sensor or industrial data sources.
  • Experience working with containerized environments such as Docker.
  • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills, ideally within Node.js ecosystems.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong analytical thinking, and ability to work in distributed teams.
  • Strong English communication skills with a collaborative and proactive mindset.
