Accountabilities

  • Lead the end-to-end production of 1 to 2 vertical short drama series simultaneously, each including multiple episodes and promotional trailers.
  • Write scripts and story arcs that maximize engagement through strong hooks, cliffhangers, pacing, and audience retention.
  • Direct, edit, and finalize episodes independently while maintaining consistent quality and storytelling standards.
  • Use AI-assisted production tools for casting, character continuity, trailer generation, and creative iteration.
  • Collaborate closely with internal creative teams, technical specialists, and executive stakeholders to align production goals.
  • Optimize workflows for speed, experimentation, and scalable output while preserving narrative quality.
  • Continuously test new formats, trends, and production techniques to improve audience performance.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience directing, showrunning, or producing short-form scripted video content.
  • Strong storytelling instincts with proven ability to build suspense, emotional connection, and high-retention narratives.
  • Advanced editing and post-production capabilities with confidence managing final outputs independently.
  • Familiarity with AI content generation tools such as Runway, Sora, Kling, Veo, Pika, or similar platforms.
  • Experience creating content for vertical video or mobile-first entertainment platforms.
  • Excellent English communication skills and ability to collaborate across distributed global teams.
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to move quickly, prioritize effectively, and deliver under tight timelines.
  • Open-minded, adaptable, humble, and eager to learn emerging creative technologies.
