AWS Infrastructure Engineer (SysAdmin)

Contract Length: 3-months

Location: Fully Remote

Day Rate: £375 Outside IR35

Start Date: ASAP


We’re looking for a hands-on AWS Infrastructure Engineer to support a data technology business delivering real-time analytics across the UK. They’re entering a busy delivery phase with a major client and need additional support to keep core systems running smoothly.


This is a BAU-focused role in a security-heavy environment - ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, maintaining infrastructure, and resolving issues quickly. You’ll be working across AWS infrastructure, VPN access, certificates, and core networking components.


Key Experience Needed

  • Strong experience working as a SysAdmin / Infrastructure Engineer in AWS environments
  • Solid understanding of core AWS services (EC2, IAM, VPC, Route53)
  • Experience managing VPNs (Palo Alto highly desirable)
  • Hands-on experience with certificate management / PKI (SSL/TLS)
  • Good understanding of DNS and domain management
  • Exposure to AWS security services (KMS / CloudHSM or similar) is a plus
  • Comfortable working in BAU / support-driven environments
  • Able to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and access issues independently


Key Responsibilities
