This role is integral to scaling the company's technical teams, including quantitative developers, protocol researchers, and full-stack engineers, who are instrumental in shaping the economic backbone of major crypto networks. The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner, working closely with engineering leadership and hiring managers to understand their specific needs and craft targeted sourcing strategies. The role demands a strong technical fluency, deep knowledge of crypto culture, and the ability to engage with candidates who thrive in complex, intellectually demanding environments. The recruiter will leverage innovative sourcing channels such as on-chain reputation tools, GitHub activity, DAO contributions, crypto communities, hackathons, and more to build diverse and high-quality pipelines. Additionally, they will advise on best practices for interviews, evaluation frameworks, and process improvements to ensure a seamless candidate experience from initial outreach to offer acceptance. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge organization at the forefront of DeFi innovation, working within a collaborative, remote-first environment that values ownership, depth, and rigor.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles, preferably within crypto, protocol development, or deep-tech sectors
- Proven ability to hire senior engineers, quantitative researchers, or other highly specialized profiles
- Strong understanding of core crypto concepts, particularly within DeFi
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical products and value propositions effectively
- Autonomous work style with strong prioritization and relationship-building skills
- Experience working with ATS systems, structured evaluation frameworks, and hiring metrics
- Familiarity with crypto communities, open source platforms, and industry-specific sourcing channels

- Own the end-to-end recruitment process for technical roles, including sourcing, outreach, screening, interviewing, and closing
