Database Administrator (Modern Data Platforms) – Remote
We’re hiring a Database Administrator (DBA) to support a modern, cloud‑forward data platform environment. This is not a legacy DBA role — we’re looking for someone comfortable working across MongoDB, SQL platforms, and Databricks, with a strong operational and performance mindset.
This is a long‑term, remote contract opportunity supporting a large, stable enterprise environment.
📍 Location
- 100% Remote (U.S.)
- Preference for candidates within 3 hours of North Atlanta
- EST work hours (8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
💼 Role Details
- Employment Type: Contract / Staff Aug
- Duration: 12 months minimum (extensions likely)
- Compensation: $55–$65/hr
- On‑Call: 1 week every 5
- Visa Support: No sponsorship available

- Provide hands‑on DBA support for modern database platforms:
- MongoDB
- SQL-based databases (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
- Databricks
- Perform core DBA responsibilities:
- Monitoring and maintenance
- Performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Operational database administration
- Analyze and optimize SQL queries
- Partner with Data Platform Engineering and Data Governance teams
- Support platform modernization and stability initiatives
- Ramp quickly on new tools and technologies as the environment evolves
- Participate in knowledge sharing to reduce single points of failure
✅ Required Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Database Administrator
