Senior Full-Stack Engineer or PHP Developer and Junior JavaScript Developer

FDC Servers (AS30058) is a global IP transit and dedicated-server provider operating 100+ Tbps of network capacity across 27 PoPs.

We're hiring either one senior full-stack engineer, or a mid-level PHP developer and a junior JavaScript developer who work well together.

This is an existing product — a real one, used daily by customers and internal teams. Your job won't be to build something from scratch. It'll be to understand what's there, figure out what should change, and make it better without breaking what works. If that sounds frustrating to you, this probably isn't the right fit. WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

The product spans a PHP 8.3 backend built on a plugin-based architecture, a React frontend, Strapi CMS, and a handful of integrations — CRM, Google Maps, Analytics (event-level tracking, not just pageviews). Internal tooling and staff-facing systems are part of it too.

Most of the interesting problems here aren't greenfield. They're about making good decisions within real constraints — keeping the system maintainable, improving the parts that need it, and not introducing new pain while you fix old pain.

THE STACK

Frontend: JavaScript, React, Strapi CMS, Figma (collaboration), Google Maps APIs, Google Analytics

Backend: PHP 8.3, plugin-based PHP architecture, API integrations

Tooling: GitHub, GitHub Actions, Ansible

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Senior full-stack: You've owned features across frontend and backend, you've worked in existing codebases without rewriting everything, and you write code with the next person in mind.

Mid-level PHP + Junior JS: You have strong fundamentals and you're honest about what you don't know yet. You learn fast, you ask good questions, and you don't need everything spelled out.

For everyone: you respect maintainable code over clever code. You communicate clearly, especially when something's blocked or unclear.

English B1+ required. We're fully distributed; the team spans the US and Europe, so some practical overlap with those working hours helps.
