Job Description
This opportunity is brought to you by lemonly, a platform designed to bring fairness & efficiency back to hiring.
We're Flint – and we're transforming American healthcare
At Flint (withflint.com), we're solving one of the most urgent challenges in the United States – a critical shortage of healthcare professionals – and we're doing it at startup speed. We connect world-class international healthcare professionals with hospitals ready to offer Green Card sponsorship, creating life-changing opportunities for nurses and their families while strengthening healthcare systems across the country.
Backed by Y Combinator, Haystack VC, Audacious Ventures, and angels from Airbnb, Twitch, and Flexport, we're a Series A, mission-driven team working across 20+ states – on track to scale 4x this year. We've raised over $8M to date, most recently a $4M round, and are on track to help over 100 healthcare professionals in the U.S. by the end of this year. We're shaping a $4T industry, and we're just getting started.
If you're looking to do work that's fast-paced, ambitious, and genuinely life-changing, then Flint is where you'll do the most meaningful work of your career.
The Role: Operations Lead (Relocations)
Nurses move through Flint's pipeline – screening, interviews, offers, EB-3 sponsorship, visa processing, licensing. Then comes the phase that shapes how they'll feel about Flint for years afterward: relocation. They're packing up a life in one place and restarting it in another. They're sorting out housing, transport, and the hundred logistics of starting over while getting ready to show up strong at a new job. The person in this seat is the reason it all holds together.
We're hiring an Operations Lead (Relocations) to own that phase end-to-end. You'll report to our Head of Operations and partner with her to take the relocation function from "run manually today" to "a scalable system with a team that runs it." You'll directly manage the Operations Associates team, build the playbooks and dashboards that run the function, and be the steady, calm voice nurses reach out to when something hard comes up. The role is part system-builder, part relationship-holder – you're building the infrastructure that lets the team scale, and showing up personally when it matters most.
This is a builder's seat. The playbook doesn't exist yet, the dashboards don't exist yet, and the vendor relationships are partially in place. You'll design all of it, lead the team that runs it, and partner with our Head of Operations to take the function from manually run today to operating at scale.
What You'll Do
- Manage and coach the Operations Associates team – run day-to-day guidance, performance feedback, onboarding, and training for the relocation team. Build their capability so they can own more of the work over time
- Own the end-to-end relocation experience – from pre-arrival planning through successful onboarding at the candidate's U.S. facility, including flight booking, housing placement, transportation coordination, and local resource orientation
- Build the playbooks, SOPs, and dashboards – design the operational system that makesr elocation consistent at scale. Track on-time arrivals, housing placement rate, candidate satisfaction, and the other KPIs that tell us whether the function is healthy
- Show up personally when it matters – when a nurse hits a wobble in their first weeks (a housing issue, a logistics surprise, a difficult moment) you pick up and keep them supported. This part of the role doesn't delegate
- Pre-scope new facility cities – when Flint signs a new hospital partner, travel out ahead of the candidates to understand housing, transport, and the on-the-ground realities of the market so we can pitch candidates accurately
- Partner with Account Management, Immigration, and Licensing – relocation sits downstream of half the company. You'll be the operational contact who surfaces risks early, keeps timelines aligned with partner expectations, and makes the handoffs seamless

What We're Looking For
Must-Haves
- 3–6 years of professional experience in any combination of B2B account management, operations, customer success, or program management
- You've designed or built an operational workflow, playbook, or system in a professional role – not just inherited and maintained one
- Hands-on experience with data analysis or reporting in a professional context – you've built dashboards, tracked KPIs, or run operational reports
- Personal immigration or relocation experience, or professional experience supporting immigrant communities through transitions – you understand, first-hand or close to it, what relocating to a new city or country actually feels like
- Based in the United States
Nice-to-Haves
- You've founded or co-founded a business, freelance practice, or side project
- Familiarity with U.S. healthcare, EB-3 immigration pathways, or BON licensing processes
- You've recently delivered an AI project or AI-driven operational improvement
- Prior experience working at a startup
- You've managed or led at least one direct report in a professional setting
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences, or business

Why This Role Is Different
- You'll report directly to the Head of Operations and manage the Operations Associates team from day one – the function is one manager and a small team today; you're the next operational layer, and your fingerprints will be on how it scales
- Series A, $8M+ raised, 20+ states, 4x growth target – relocation is the bottleneck that can't stay a bottleneck as we scale. Fix it well and you're unblocking the company's growth and unlocking a turning point in your career.
- Your work directly affects a nurse's arrival, their family's first months in the country, and the hospital that's waiting on them – very few operations roles have this clear a line from your calendar to someone's life
Compensation & Details
- Salary: $80,000 USD base
- Equity: Ownership stake in a Series A, Y Combinator-backed company
- Location: Remote, United States only
- Schedule: Pacific Standard Time hours with a 7:00–9:00 AM PST start (10:00-12:00 EST)
- Travel: Domestic, at least once per month – including pre-scoping visits to new facility cities
If you're ready to own this seat – building the systems, leading the team, and showing up for the people we serve – we'd love to meet you.
