The Role: Network Administrator
As a Network Administrator, you will support the day-to-day operation of customer network circuits within Switch infrastructure. This role focuses on learning systems, following established processes, and assisting with routine network tasks.
You will work under guidance to complete assigned work, respond to basic issues, and support customer implementations. Your work helps maintain reliable network operations while building foundational networking skills.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with provisioning and updating customer network circuits
- Monitor alerts and escalate issues based on defined procedures
- Support troubleshooting by gathering data and performing initial checks
- Follow standard processes for network changes and updates
- Assist with maintaining network documentation and IP records
- Support customer onboarding tasks using established configurations
- Help track inventory and complete basic operational tasks
- Contribute to team documentation and runbooks
- Work with team members to resolve issues and complete assigned tasks
- Participate in an on-call rotation with support

Required Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in IT, networking, or a related field
- Basic understanding of networking concepts such as IP addressing and VLANs
- Familiarity with networking hardware or lab environments
- Exposure to troubleshooting or ticketing systems
- Ability to follow documented procedures
- Willingness to learn networking technologies and tools
