Senior Motion Designer

Motion Designer with Sports, Broadcast, or Live-event environments needed

Russell Tobin & Associates is currently seeking a Senior Motion Designer to support our client, a leading organization in the sports and entertainment industry. 4D Cinema experience is preferred.

Contract Duration: through the end of July 2026.

Hours per week: 15-20 hours – project-based

Location: Remote (U.S.-based)

Pay Rate: $55 - $69 per hour on W2

*Candidates are asked to supply their own equipment

Role Overview

Our client is seeking a Motion Designer to support ongoing creative initiatives across league marketing, broadcast packages, social content, and matchday moments. This role will partner closely with internal creative teams to deliver high-quality motion graphics under tight timelines and evolving creative needs.

Required Qualifications

· 3+ years of experience as a Motion Designer

· Experience in sports, broadcast, or live-event environments is highly preferred

· Proficiency in Cinema (Redshift, Octane, or similar render engines preferred) would be plus

· Strong understanding of animation principles, lighting, materials, and rendering workflows

· Experience integrating The Client assets into After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite would be a plus

· Ability to work independently and respond quickly to feedback

· Strong communication skills and comfort working with distributed teams

· Portfolio showcasing high-quality motion design work

Key Responsibilities

· Design and produce high-quality motion graphics and animations using Cinema

· Create visually compelling assets for broadcast, digital, social, and in-stadium platforms

· Support real-time or rapid-turnaround creative for matchdays, league moments, and special campaigns

· Collaborate with art directors, motion designers, editors, and producers to execute creative concepts

· Adapt existing templates and develop new motion assets as needed

· Ensure all work aligns with clients brand standards and visual guidelines

· Manage multiple assignments and deliverables while meeting fast-paced deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in sports, broadcast, or live-event environments

· Familiarity with real-time graphics, templated workflows, or broadcast packages

· Knowledge of Unreal Engine, Houdini, or other The Client tools

· Passion for sports storytelling

Must be authorized to work in the United States
