Job Description
Role
The Head of Marketing is responsible for building, scaling, and operating the marketing engine for the Advisory Practice.
This is a high-volume, high-ticket acquisition environment where marketing is the front door to a multi-year client relationship. The role owns the full funnel, from first touch through qualified pipeline, with a focus on acquiring clients who retain, grow, and increase lifetime value.
You lead both strategy and execution. You set direction, build systems, manage budget, and develop the team, while staying close enough to the work to make informed decisions on creative, media, and funnel performance.
This role partners closely with sales and leadership to define the Ideal Client Profile, improve lead quality, and ensure marketing is aligned with long-term business outcomes, not just short-term volume.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end marketing engine, including paid acquisition, creative production, funnel performance, and marketing systems
- Set and execute the marketing strategy, translating company goals into quarterly plans, channel strategy, and campaign direction
- Manage and allocate a $1M+/month paid media budget, optimizing for CAC to LTV, not just cost per lead
- Build and lead the marketing team, including hiring, performance management, vendor oversight, and production workflows
- Establish and maintain attribution, analytics, and reporting systems that connect acquisition cost to client lifetime value
- Partner with sales to define ICP, improve lead quality, and maintain a consistent feedback loop between marketing performance and client outcomes
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in performance marketing with direct ownership of large paid media budgets
- Proven experience leading multi-function marketing teams across creative, media buying, and analytics
- Strong understanding of CAC to LTV economics and experience optimizing for client quality and retention
- Deep platform knowledge across Meta, Google, YouTube, and at least one additional channel such as TikTok
- Experience building marketing systems, workflows, and teams from scratch or through rapid scale
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve marketing output, speed, or decision-making
