Location: Graz, Austria /Global – 50% International Travel

Salary: €2.985 - €3.110 gross per month + allowances

In this Commissioning Engineer role, you'll work for a global business that designs and builds advanced automated systems to help customers manage their logistics and supply chains. Software Commissioning Engineer Responsibilities:

• Write and configure software programs to control automated machinery, tailored to each customer's requirements
• Test software quality using simulators before deployment
• Travel internationally (50–60% of the time) to customer sites to carry out installation and commissioning
• Lead on-site testing, integration, and configuration, working alongside various technical specialists
• Train customer staff and provide support ahead of system go-live
• Act as a key point of contact for customers on-site, delivering clear communication and good service
• Collaborate with internal teams throughout the project to ensure successful delivery

• Hand over completed projects to the relevant departments once commissioning is complete

Experience & requirements for the role:

• Knowledge of object orientated programming (C++, C# or Java)
• Relational database knowledge in SQL or Oracle and Linux
• Ability to work in collaboration with internal and external project teams
• Ability to speak English with technical conversations as a minimum, being able to speak German is advantageous
• Eligible to work in Austria/ EU
• Hold a valid driver’s licence
