📌 Data Engineer (Microsoft Fabric & Databricks) – International Project
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join an international, fully remote project, working with modern data platforms and supporting multiple global markets.
This is a 2-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension, ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced, global data environments.
🔍 Project Context
You will be part of a global data initiative, enabling data availability and analytics capabilities across multiple markets, from source systems to Power BI golden layers, using Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and OneLake.
English is mandatory, as this is an international project with stakeholders across different regions.
🧩 Key Responsibilities
- Enable data pipelines from CAP to Power BI Golden Layer for all international markets
- Ingest and transform Hotjar vendor data into the Power BI Golden Layer
- Bring Google Analytics data into the Power BI Golden Layer (supporting and stabilizing existing deployments)
- Identify and fix known data quality issues, including duplicates in CAP data
- Deploy 1,901 data products per market into OneLake, ensuring Switzerland-based access compliance
- Review and update technical documentation to support onboarding of a GCC resource starting in June

✅ Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Experience working with Databricks
- Solid knowledge of data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling
- Experience with Power BI and Golden Layer concepts
- Ability to troubleshoot data quality and duplication issues
- Fluent English (spoken and written) – mandatory
- Experience working in international and remote teams
- Availability to start in the short term
