Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and driven Product Owner to join our dynamic team. As a Product Owner, you will be the voice of the customer and the champion of the product vision. You will work closely with stakeholders and development teams to define, prioritize, and deliver valuable product features that align with our strategic goals. You will be responsible for maximizing the value of the product and ensuring that it meets the needs of our users.


What you’ll do:

  • Product Vision & Strategy:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine the product vision and roadmap.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the market, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Translate business requirements and user needs into clear and actionable product backlog items.


  • Product Backlog Management:
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it is transparent, visible, and understood.
  • Define user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Refine and groom the backlog with the development team.
  • Manage dependencies and risks.


  • Sprint Planning & Execution:
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Provide clear guidance and support to the development team during sprints.
  • Make timely decisions to resolve roadblocks and ensure sprint goals are met.
  • Accept or reject completed user stories based on acceptance criteria.


  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops.


  • Product Performance & Analysis:
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics.
  • Use data and feedback to inform product decisions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.


What we need from you:

  • Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, or other relevant role, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


  • Preferred:
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with data centric products.
  • Experience in financial technology is advantageous.

Additional information: This is a hybrid role in our Limerick City office that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
