Who We Are
At Guardian Sports, we manufacture sports equipment that is trusted by teams in the most elite football & lacrosse leagues across the country – the NFL, NCAA, & USA Lacrosse to name a few. We have a true passion for protecting athletes and use our 20+ years of material science expertise to continually develop technologies that can enhance sports equipment.
We are a fast-growing, innovation-driven company seeking a creative and data-driven Social Media Lead to own strategy, execution, and performance across all Guardian Sports brand accounts. This role ensures every post and community interaction reflects our brand standards while delivering measurable impact across our product lines: Guardian Cap/FLEX, LOOP, and PEARL.
What You’ll Do
The Social Media Lead will manage the full breadth of our social media accounts — from planning to reporting — while maintaining the unique voice of each product line. You will collaborate closely with the Brand Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams to develop high-performing content, manage creator relationships, and represent Guardian Sports across all digital touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Own the social media strategy across all Guardian Sports brands (Guardian Cap, LOOP, PEARL), ensuring content aligns with company goals and delivers measurable results.
- Build and maintain a social media content calendar; plan seasonal campaigns in alignment with product launches and buying seasons.

Content Creation
- Create and manage platform-native content — photo, video, and copy — across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, and Threads.
- Assist the creative team with ad creative development, producing assets and concepts that translate organic content into paid social formats.
- Community & Engagement
- Drive community engagement by monitoring and responding to comments, DMs, and mentions across all brand accounts in a timely, on-brand manner.
- Help lead the Athlete and Ambassador program, including outreach, onboarding, content briefing, and ongoing relationship management.
Partnerships & Activations
- Maintain and grow social media partner relationships, including co-branded content, sponsored posts, and organic collaborations.
- Deliver on all social partnership and sponsorship commitments, coordinating with internal stakeholders to meet deadlines and brand guidelines.
- Represent Guardian Sports at donation events, school visits, and community activations to capture content and support grassroots brand building. (Occasional)
Analytics & Reporting
- Track, analyze, and report on social media KPIs across all platforms; translate data into actionable insights and optimizations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Brand, Creative, and Partnerships team members to support integrated campaigns and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

- Experienced with a camera — comfortable shooting and editing both photo and video content independently in the field and in-studio.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights that improve content performance.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills; can juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball.
