About The Role

As a Software Developer at Starapple, you will join a small, agile development team working on bespoke WordPress projects for high-traffic clients. The role involves participating in two-week Scrum sprints, where you will contribute to diverse client requests and project development. Given the company's size and structure, you will quickly assume significant responsibilities, including designing sustainable solutions, developing custom plugins, and integrating various systems through bespoke connections. The team values a proactive mindset, ownership, and independent working, but also emphasizes collaboration and shared learning. You will work closely with the team during daily stand-ups and communicate primarily via Slack, with flexible working hours to accommodate your personal productivity peaks. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in PHP development.
• Proficiency in WordPress development, including creating custom plugins.
• Experience with unit testing, design patterns, and adherence to coding standards.
• Ability to work independently, take responsibility, and deliver high-quality results.
• Knowledge of Symfony framework is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for technical excellence.
