About The Role

As a Software Developer at Starapple, you will become an integral part of a small, dynamic development team working on challenging projects in a fast-paced environment. You will participate in two-week Scrum sprints, collaborating closely with colleagues to address diverse client requirements. Your responsibilities will include developing custom WordPress plugins, optimizing high-traffic environments, and implementing innovative solutions that adhere to best practices. The role offers significant autonomy, encouraging proactive thinking and sustainable problem-solving. Given the fully remote nature of the company, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere, managing your own schedule while maintaining accountability through results-oriented workflows. This position is ideal for experienced PHP developers who thrive in a collaborative environment and are passionate about creating impactful digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant PHP development experience.
• Proficiency in WordPress development, including creating custom plugins.
• Experience with unit testing, design patterns, and adherence to coding standards.
• Ability to work independently, take responsibility, and deliver high-quality results.
• Knowledge of Symfony framework is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
