Clinical Data Platform Business Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a Business Analyst to support a client team building and evolving a clinical data platform focused on clinical operations. This role is not a traditional requirements‑gathering position. The client needs someone who can act as a thought partner and sparring partner to product managers from day one, contributing to problem framing, ideation, and solution design. The ideal candidate will not require a ramp‑up on clinical trial processes or terminology.

This is an Inside IR35 contract and sites fully remote.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

• Act as a thought partner to product managers, contributing to ideation, problem framing, and solution design
• Analyse clinical operations processes across the full trial lifecycle, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement

• Translate ambiguous or complex stakeholder needs into clear problem statements, frameworks, and proposed solutions
• Develop high‑quality presentations and storytelling artifacts to communicate insights and recommendations
• Collaborate closely with senior consultants and client‑facing teams to move from problem definition to actionable outcomes
• Apply real clinical trial knowledge to understand how decisions around trial design, recruitment, site strategy, and operations impact outcomes

Must Haves

• Experience in management consulting or consulting‑style roles (analyst or consultant level), including client‑facing experience
• Strong clinical trial and clinical operations domain knowledge, with hands‑on exposure to areas such as: trial design, site selection and country allocation, budget allocation
• Real‑time trial tracking and clinical operations
• Experience working closely with product managers or senior stakeholders, contributing to ideation and solution development, not just execution
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills with the ability to create clear, structured, executive‑ready storytelling decks
• Ability to independently research, form a point of view, and proactively bring ideas forward
• Confident communicator who can present structured, data‑informed insights to senior stakeholders
