Junior AI Agent Engineer

We're hiring a Junior AI Agent Engineer to join our team building production AI systems. This is a part-time role with a path to full-time for the right person. Students and early-career engineers are welcome.

What you'll work on

We work across the full AI engineering stack:

• Software Engineering
• AI Agent Engineering
• RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) Development
• Prompt Engineering
• Fine-Tuning
• DevOps / MLOps

You'll get hands-on exposure to real systems and real problems.

What we're looking for

• Basic spoken and written English (you'll read docs and communicate with the team)
• Some Python experience (university coursework counts)
• Basic understanding of AI and LLMs
• Comfortable using an AI dev tool like Claude Code or Cursor in your daily workflow
• Curiosity, ownership, and a willingness to learn fast

Compensation

• R$ 2.000 base (gross, CLT)
• Performance bonus of R$ 500 to R$ 2.000 per month, calculated monthly based on hours worked
• Part-time now, with a clear transition path to full-time

Hiring process

1. A quick 30-minute intro call with the founder, in English, to get to know each other.
2. A take-home task.
3. A 1-hour follow-up call with one of our engineers, in Portuguese, to walk through how you solved the task and answer a few extra questions.

Using AI tools during the take-home is welcome and encouraged. Bad code is not.
