Job Title: HRIS Systems Analyst
Job Description
The HRIS Systems Analyst supports the day-to-day administration, configuration, and optimization of HR systems, ensuring accurate data, smooth operations, and high-quality end-user support. This is a hands-on role focused on execution, problem-solving, and continuous improvement, working closely with HR, IT, Payroll, and Finance to translate business needs into effective system solutions.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain HRIS platforms, including Oracle PeopleSoft 9.2, Infinite BrassRing, and Cornerstone OnDemand.
- Perform system configuration, including business rule updates, security and permissions changes, and mass data updates to support HR programs and processes.
- Monitor system integrations and interfaces between HRIS and other internal systems, proactively identify issues, and troubleshoot or escalate as needed.
- Serve as the first line of support for HRIS-related questions and issues from HR, Payroll, Finance, and other end users, providing timely and accurate resolutions.
- Maintain data integrity through regular audits, reconciliations, validations, and quality checks, and take corrective actions when discrepancies arise.
- Build, maintain, and deliver standard and ad hoc HR reports and dashboards to support compliance, analytics, and business decision-making.
- Support system upgrades, patches, and the rollout of new functionality by participating in planning, configuration, testing, and validation activities.
- Partner with HRIS team members and HR stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into system configurations and process improvements.
- Document system configurations, processes, procedures, and user guides to support knowledge sharing and consistent use of HR systems.
- Support annual performance and compensation cycles by assisting with system setup, configuration, testing, and validation of data and workflows.
- Apply quality processes, quality auditing, and continuous improvement practices to HRIS operations and related HR processes.
- Adhere to change control processes when implementing system changes, ensuring proper review, testing, and documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 3–5 years of experience working with HRIS or HR systems in an administrative or analyst capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of HR processes across the hire-to-retire lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with system configuration, reporting, and HR data management.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft O365, particularly Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data accuracy and process efficiency.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience applying quality processes, quality auditing, and quality systems in a systems or HR context.
- Experience working within change control processes for system updates and enhancements.
- Ability to support accounting- and payroll-related requirements within HR systems, ensuring accurate data flow to Finance and Payroll.

This is a Contract position based out of Boston, MA.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
