Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer to join a rapidly growing deep-tech company developing laser-based communication systems for satellites.

This role can be based in Cork or Galway and includes visa sponsorship and relocation support.

If you’re an Analog IC Designer motivated by the chance to contribute to a world-class space-age communication program, this is a great option. As the Senior Analog IC Design Engineer you will work within a highly collaborative team, including engineers from NASA, to design and verify a wide range of analog circuits for high-speed and photonic ICs. You’ll be working on truly innovative solutions with real-world impact and enjoy the satisfaction of seeing the finished final product.

The team is set to more than double in size this year, and so offers great opportunities to develop your leadership skills.

As the successful Analog IC Design Engineer you will have:

  • A BSc / MSc or PhD in Electronics Engineering or related field
  • At least 5 years’ of experience in analog IC design, with a track record of successful tape-outs in advanced node CMOS or BiCMOS processes
  • Proven experience designing high-speed analog circuits (this would be ideal, however not an absolute essential)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset
  • A flexible, motivated mindset, and be comfortable working within a rapidly changing environment

Our client offers flexible work schedules and a comprehensive package including competitive basic salary, annual bonus, and company benefits.

Candidates up to Principal level can also be considered with the right experience.
