Job Description
Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a global organization, is seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer. This role is responsible for leading enterprise network architecture and L3 support, driving global network strategy, and ensuring secure, scalable infrastructure across a multi-site environment.
This is direct hire and full remote with 10% travel. Must be a US Citizen and in the Eastern or Central Time Zone. Please do not apply if this criteria does not fit.
Job Duties
- Develop and execute global network strategy aligned with business and IT objectives
- Lead the design, configuration, and performance of LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and remote access environments
- Provide L3 support for critical incidents (P1/P2), including deep troubleshooting across OSI layers
- Architect, optimize secure network solutions, including firewall and Zero Trust frameworks
- Collaborate with managed service providers to ensure service quality across L1/L2 support tiers
- Partner with vendors to evaluate solutions, manage contracts, and drive service delivery
- Support data center environments and contribute to cloud network strategy and migrations
- Recommend and implement improvements based on emerging technologies and performance insights

Skills & Experience
Required
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering or architecture
- Strong expertise in LAN/WAN, VPNs, SD-WAN, and network security
- Hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies
- Experience with enterprise firewall platforms (e.g., Palo Alto or equivalent)
- Deep understanding of OSI model and multi-layer troubleshooting (Layer 7 down)
- Experience supporting large-scale, multi-site global environments
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
